A rare sycamore and teak bookcase of Japanese influence, designed with a strong horizontal emphasis and attributed to the style of Ilmari Tapiovaara. Oversailing shelf supports extend beyond the frame, creating a layered, architectural rhythm, while sliding doors with integrated handle cutouts introduce moments of enclosure and contrast. The combination of light sycamore and warmer teak gives the piece depth and visual balance.
