Blonde oak bookcase, cabinet, or vitrine from the 1930s, designed by distinguished English furniture maker Heals. The handsome breakfront top is surmounted by a carved frieze with dentil molding, and provides ample room for storage and display with three adjustable shelves, inset behind four paned-glass doors. The central panel of windows have diamond-shaped panes, which creates an interesting contrast with the rectangular-paned window panels on either side. The plinth base conceals further storage behind four carved panels, unmarked by any hardware.

England, circa 1930

Dimensions: 60.5W x 18D x 75H
