19th century handmade wooden chair with simple, primitive lines from the Alsace region of France. Made in hardwood with single slab construction for the seat and a twisted iron cross frame to the legs, this humble and quirky piece is exceptionally solid and well built. We believe it was originally constructed for use within an artisan workshop.
