The restraint and simplicity of Japanese fashion designer Kenzo's Paris apartment is a revelation in warm minimalism. A far cry from its sterile, monkish associations, Kenzo's brand of minimalism takes a keen eye for comfort. The 19th-century upholstered recliner invites relaxation, while the neoclassical French cast-bronze sculpture adds an element of grace and movement. Airy and meditative, the space puts shadow and light centerstage.
