AP143 | Regency Tea Caddy

Regency tea caddy box in mahogany. An exceptionally elegant and discreet object, the box is flanked by a ring pull carrying handle on either side. Mounted on carved bun feet, the decorative program is relatively subdued, save for a diamond-shaped inlay ivory keyhole on the box's front. The hinged lid reveals an interior lined with tufted forest green velvet, two wooden compartments for the storage of loose tea leaves, and an engraved crystal cup with a frosted floral motif.
