Large moody mid-century oil painting on board entitled "The Shore", signed by Vivienne Foster (1936-2014). Foster was a Yorkshire artist who studied at the Central St. Martins School of Arts. An enigmatic piece depicting a desolate shore with two distant figures walking either towards or away from the viewer. The sky is awash in a dreamy torrent of color. It is either sunrise or sunset.
