BP37 | Peter Ghyczy Metal and Glass Side Table
One of a pair of midcentury glass and cast brass side table, designed by Peter Ghyczy (model T18). Ghyczy, originally from Hungary, fled to West Germany in the 1950s where he became the chief designer at a polyurethane factory, and eventual pioneer of midcentury innovation in design, releasing his famous 'Garden Egg' Chair in 1968. This beveled glass square top accent or side table features an angular brass four legged base and chic, modernist profile. (Sold individually)
