An abstract landscape oil painting on canvas by English artist Robert Eadie. With earthy greens and creamy yellows, Eadie depicts a stretch of sand and the scrubby beach dunes surrounding with fantastic proportions and a soft meditative intensity.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1877, Eadie was mostly known for his elegant landscapes, beach and street scenes in both oil and watercolor. He studied at the Glasgow School of Art before exhibiting regularly at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh, the Royal Academy in London and the Paris Salon.
