This delightful proto-Cubist oil pastel drawing, hailing from turn-of-the-century Belgium, captures the vibrancy of sun-drenched rooftops in a seaside port. The bright colors and abstract shapes converge to evoke the lively essence of the town, while the playful use of light and shadow adds depth and movement, bringing the scene to life.
