English Art Deco commemorative silver-plate canister with sculptural elements. Perched atop a globe, a model steam ship makes a whimsical handle for the canister's lid. The base is mounted on small bead-shaped feet, and is decorated with bas-relief industrial scenes.  Suitable for storage and decorative use alike, this piece would make a wonderful compartment for incense, with space for storing matches in the concealed drawer below.
